About Cliffside Restaurant
The dream of Cliffside Restaurant began in 2013 when Tom stumbled upon a Craigslist posting for the iconic, yet vacant, Rococo Restaurant and Hotel overlooking St. George. We immediately fell in love with the property and its potential. With our background in construction and design, we immediately set about remodeling and redesigning. We had previously built and owned the Anniversary Inns in Salt Lake City and Boise, so we were familiar with the hotel industry. However, the restaurant business was new to us. We contacted the renowned chef, Peter Sproul, then director of the Utah Valley University Culinary Arts Institute, and asked him if two novices could "even do this". He not only assured us we could, but he took us under his wing and helped us immensely by designing the kitchen and creating the menu based on what we love in a restaurant. Our vision was to have delicious, fresh food prepared by a passionate chef that would be presented beautifully on the plate.
In 2014, Cliffside Restaurant was born. We are honored to employ the finest hospitality professionals in Southern Utah who love what they do. We are proud to present a quality, delicious, fresh, chef-inspired menu, so sit back and enjoy the view while we prepare your selection made-to-order.
We consider every person who steps through these doors as we would a guest in our home. We hope your experience will exceed your expectations and that you will return often.
Thank you for being our guest at Cliffside Restaurant!
